Madonna’s ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II’ Gets July Release Date

Madonna is making a comeback to the dance floor with her new album titled Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II.

The “Material Girl” has set the release date of her new album for July 3 via Warner Records. This is her first studio album in seven years and is the follow-up to her 2005 dance record Confessions on a Dance Floor.

Madonna shared the cover art for Confessions II on social media, in which she is seen wearing a sheer, pink, silky fabric over her face while sitting on purple speakers.

The singer had teased her new album days before, saying in a statement, “From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again, and in fact that couldn’t have been truer.”

“Since the beginning, Warner Records has been a real partner with me,” she continued. “I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while, perhaps, provoking a few needed conversations.”

Confessions on a Dance Floor was produced by Madonna and DJ Stuart Price and released in 2005. Some of the hit singles off the album included “Hung Up,” “Sorry,” “Get Together,” and “Jump.” In support of the album, Madonna embarked on the Confessions Tour, which included 60 shows across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Since Confessions on a Dance Floor, Madonna has released Hard Candy (2008), MDNA (2015), Rebel Heart (2015), and Madame X (2019).
