Jalen Johnson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker removed from Hawks injury report for Game 1 vs. Knicks

The Atlanta Hawks are on the road on Saturday night as they travel to take on the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
For the Hawks, they enter Saturday’s game as the No. 6 seed in the East after finishing the regular season with a 46-36 record following a loss on the road to the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Now Atlanta will try to pick up a key road victory over the Knicks in Game 1 on Saturday as they try to take a 1-0 series lead.
While the Hawks are looking to pick up a victory in Game 1 on Saturday night, they may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Hawks remove Jalen Johnson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker from injury report for Game 1
For the Hawks, they have only one player listed on their injury report for Saturday’s game as they have ruled out Jock Landale.
Atlanta has ruled out Landale due to due to a right ankle sprain as he will miss his sixth consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least two more weeks.

With Landale still sidelined, Mouhamed Gueye and Tony Bradley could both continue to have increased roles off the bench behind Onyeka Okongwu.
The good news for the Hawks is that the rest of their roster in healthy entering the playoffs as Jalen Johnson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, C.J. McCollum, Jonathan Kuminga and the rest of their main rotation is off the injury report and will return after sitting out the final game of the regular season.
