Bron Breakker return costs Seth Rollins match at WrestleMania 42

Seth Rollins and GUNTHER argued over Paul Heyman, and then they argued over being the absolute best, and whether or not the former was ducking the latter during his world heavyweight title reign. They didn’t have a whole hell of a lot to base the story on, seeing as it only happened due to injuries to other wrestlers.
Either way, the match happened at tonight’s (Sat., April 18, 2026) WrestleMania 42 premium live event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
GUNTHER is undoubtedly one of the very best professional wrestlers on Earth, and he continued his run of unbelievable big money matches here. Rollins, no slouch himself, brought his A game, and they tore the house down with a straight up back-and-forth war of attrition.
The false finishes were particularly strong, with multiple near falls that that had the stadium at a fever pitch. Rollins followed up a deep two count off a Falcon Arrow with a sleeper hold that had everyone on their feet. GUNTHER made the ropes, however, and they kept right on going. Rollins was relentless, hitting a Pedigree on one announcer’s table and then following up with a Stomp on another.
Then Bron Breakker came sprinting in with a Spear from hell. Rollins never saw GUNTHER get back in the ring and lock the sleeper in.
That was it. Off to La La Land for The Architect.
After, Breakker gave the crowd what they wanted with yet another sprinting Spear that looked incredible, even if it didn’t land as clean as the first one.
