The fans chanted “welcome back” at Paige as she sat down to chat with the WrestleMania 42 post-show crew in Las Vegas, Nevada and she responded to them by saying “It’s good to be home. It’s about time.”
Big E openly wondered if the goal was always to come back.
“100-percent. WWE is my home, I was raised here. I mean, Big E, I’ve known you since I was 18-years-old, I’m going to be 34 this year, babe! Isn’t that crazy? … But yeah, I’m a WWE girl forever.”
She went on to say she didn’t know how anyone was going to react to her coming back but instantly felt the magic of WrestleMania as she walked out on the stage. It was a magical moment, and one of the highlights of an somewhat bumpy first night of the “Showcase of the Immortals.”
Meanwhile, in other important news, Nikki Bella revealed she got surgery done a couple weeks back and that’s when she ran into Paige in Birmingham. Everything came together from there.
If that’s true, it’s an incredible story.
Either way, Paige is back in WWE, already holding gold, and the future looks bright indeed.
