Just two weeks after making her first public appearance in vintage Dior, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s 6-month-old daughter, Rocki Irish, is officially a cover girl. Rocki and her mom are on the cover of W magazine’s “Pop Issue,” which was unveiled Tuesday and hits newsstands May 12.
Naturally, the mother and daughter posed for the cover shoot wearing looks by their favorite designer. Rihanna wore a Dior coat and hat, which she paired with a Cartier necklace and tights by Falke. Rocki wore — get this — a Dior diaper. In an interview with the magazine, Jonathan Anderson, who designed Rocki’s look, said the “haute couture diaper is definitely a first for Dior.” “When Rihanna asks for something, she is already ahead of what is happening. She is thinking outside the box,” Anderson said. “When she has an idea, I’m always trusting in the process. I trust her implicitly on anything she feels that is right to do.”
This isn’t the first time Rihanna has posed for a magazine cover with one of her babies — in 2023, she and A$AP Rocky appeared on the cover of Vogue with their firstborn, RZA, just three days after revealing Rihanna was pregnant for the second time.
We look forward to seeing Rocki follow in her mom’s fashion footsteps — even if she can’t walk quite yet.
