Fire crews are battling a large blaze at a garage in South Lanarkshire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to a “well-developed fire” on Bothwell Road in Uddingston shortly after 18:00.
The affected garage is next to a petrol station and near a Tesco superstore. The fire service said it had sent six appliances and a high-reach platform.
Police have closed the Bothwell Road at Main Street, Douglas Gardens and Old Glasgow Road, with diversions in place. No casualties have been reported.
