Charles Barkley gets fed up with himself over nonstop commercial appearances

Few things are more Charles Barkley than calling himself out in public. Honest, unfiltered, and with that signature sense of humor. This time, the NBA legend turned analyst made it clear: he’s tired of seeing himself over and over again on TV.
During March Madness, Barkley spoke about a frustration that has nothing to do with the game, the players, or basketball itself, but with something that’s impossible to avoid: his own commercials.

The former player, now an analyst for the NCAA Tournament broadcasts on CBS and Turner, admitted he can’t stand the constant repetition anymore. The ad, known as “Sorry Sam Jackson,” appears so often that it’s become impossible to ignore.
Inside the studio, multiple games are shown at the same time on different screens. When they all go to commercial break simultaneously, the result is inevitable: his ad shows up everywhere. Barkley described it in his own way. It’s uncomfortable and repetitive to sit there while his own face takes over every screen around him.
He even joked that it’s the only thing he doesn’t like about March Madness. And coming from someone who lives in front of the camera, the comment sounds more like that of a fan on the other side of the TV. Barkley, like anyone else, gets tired of seeing the same thing over and over again even if, in this case, that “same thing” is his own face.
