Domino’s giving away $1 million in free pizza for red cards shown at the World Cup

Domino’s is giving away $1 million worth of free pizzas if Team USA gets a red card during the World Cup.
Domino’s is celebrating one of the biggest summers in international soccer with a new promotion tied directly to the U.S. national team, offering fans a chance at free pizza if players receive red cards during the tournament.
The pizza chain announced it will give away $1 million worth of Emergency Pizzas if any player on the U.S. squad is sent off with a red card during the summer competition, which comes just weeks before the United States co-hosts the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside Canada and Mexico.

Fans can register through Domino’s website before June 10 for a chance to win one of more than 60,000 free medium two-topping pizzas. Winners will be selected at random if a U.S. player receives a red card during tournament play.
The campaign is part of a larger soccer-focused push from Domino’s as brands ramp up marketing around the sport ahead of the World Cup arriving in North America next year. Soccer’s popularity in the US has continued to surge in recent years through international tournaments, MLS growth, streaming deals, and EA SPORTS FC.

The company is also tying the promotion into gaming through EA SPORTS FC 26 by giving away an additional 75,000 Emergency Pizzas to players in the US. Randomly selected players aged 18 and older will receive promo codes for free pizzas while playing the game on Fridays through June 5.
Domino’s originally launched Emergency Pizza as a rewards promotion for customers wanting a backup meal for unexpected situations, but the offer has since become one of the company’s biggest recurring campaigns through sports, gaming, and viral online promotions as brands continue leaning into the growing hype surrounding the 2026 World Cup.

“Soccer gurus know the worst thing to happen in a game is for a player on the team you’re rooting for to receive a red card. If that happens to the American squad, Domino’s is here to help ease the pain by giving away Emergency Pizzas.”
Customers who win the giveaway must be enrolled in Domino’s Rewards and redeem their free pizza before August 2, 2026.
