Brock Lesnar returns to WWE, destroys Oba Femi to set up ‘the biggest rematch in history’

Brock Lesnar left his boots in the ring last month at WrestleMania 42 after getting his ass kicked by Oba Femi. It looked like he caught everyone off guard, including Paul Heyman, with a sudden shoot retirement. WWE even moved Brock to the alumni section of their web site. But this is pro wrestling, so of course there was a chance it was all a work.
That was confirmed on this week’s (May 18) episode of Raw when Oba came out for his weekly open challenge, which was already running out of steam given that nobody in the locker room wants to answer it. After Femi did his entrance and struck his pose in the ring, someone came from behind to attack The Ruler. It was indeed the return of The Beast, who took out Femi with several F5s.
Moments later, Paul Heyman handed GM Adam Pearce a contract with Brock’s name on it for ‘the biggest rematch in history’ at Clash In Italy on May 31. Oba Femi just needs to sign his name on the dotted line, and Legnar’s Lesnar’s comeback match will be official.
Wow, can you believe that really happened? Give me your reaction to Brock’s surprise return in the comments below, Cagesiders.
