Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi reported ahead of the 7:05 p.m. ET first pitch that the game would be delayed by weather. The team confirmed the game would not start on time but there was no immediate update on an expected start time.
The contest will be a battle between two of baseball’s top young starters as the Blue Jays will send Trey Yesavage to the mound opposite Yankees righty Cam Schlittler.
New York won the first two games of the four-game set.
