The bracket for the 2026 Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas is set.
It’s a new format from last season, there will be an official champion crowned based off of a tournament setting. Iowa State will participate in Thanksgiving week tournament in a 16 team bracket.
The Cyclones open up the Tournament against San Diego State on Nov. 24 and will play either Tennessee or Maryland on Thanksgiving. Regardless of results in the first two games, Iowa State will play one of Oregon, St. John’s, Louisville or Texas Tech on Friday.
If Iowa State goes 3-0 on their side of the bracket, they will play for an additional $1 million in the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Michelob Ultra Arena.
