Off-Campus season two: who will star and when is it coming out?

It’s no mean feat for a debut series to hit the number one spot on its streaming service’s most-watched list, but that’s exactly what Off-Campus has done.
The romantic drama based on Elle Kennedy’s books follows Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), a college student at the fictional Briar University in Boston, who enlists the help of hockey captain Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) to be her fake boyfriend. You’ll never guess what happens next…
The good news for fans of the Amazon Prime show (of which there are many) is that the Off-Campus books are a series much like Bridgerton, where a new pair of leads take centre stage with each instalment. In other words, there will definitely be a second season and hopefully plenty more to follow.
Will there be an Off-Campus season two?
Yes, it’s been officially confirmed that Off-Campus has been renewed for a second season.
‘Off-Campus captures the kind of emotionally charged, character-driven storytelling that truly resonates with our global Prime Video audience,’ said Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios. ‘With its passionate fan base, rich source material, and an incredible creative team bringing Briar U to life, we knew that this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season. Set against the high-intensity world of college hockey, the series explores deeply personal journeys and is brought to life by a tremendously talented cast whose chemistry and authenticity make every moment feel real. We have great confidence in the way Louisa has mastered this adaptation, and we’re excited to give fans even more of the romance, friendship, and heart that define the series.’
Who will lead the cast of Off-Campus season two?
Although season two is likely to focus on different Off-Campus characters, Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright have confirmed that they will be returning for the second season of the show. ‘We will be along for the ride the whole time,’ Cameli said. Bright added that they will be ‘sticking around’ and are excited to see what season two has in store.
It’s likely that season two will take inspiration from the second book in the series, The Mistake. The synopsis reads: ‘College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.
‘After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wise and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have to work for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat… and she plans on driving him wild.’
When is season two of Off-Campus coming out?
The release date for season two has not yet been confirmed, but production details are likely to follow in the coming months. For now, fans will have to rewatch season one on Amazon Prime – or the other hit Hockey drama of the year, Heated Rivalry.
