NRL Late Mail Round 12: Su’A injures calf; RTS returns

The Titans have received a boost with back-rower Chris Randall added to the bench after gaining a clearance to play from the NRL.
Further head injury assessment testing post-match from club medicos after last Sunday’s Magic Round clash against the Knights has allowed the 30-year-old to be included in the squad.

Sea Eagles v Titans, Saturday 7.35pm at 4 Pines Park
Sea Eagles: No late changes for the Sea Eagles. Josh Feledy and Blake Wilson join the backline with Tolu Koula on Origin duty and Lehi Hopoate suspended. After coming off the bench in his NRL debut in Round 10, Jackson Shereb starts in the back row in place of Blues rep Haumole Olakau’atu. Forwards Hugo Hart and Simione Laiafi are the new faces on the six-man bench with Hart in line for an NRL debut.
Titans: Chris Randall has joined the interchange bench after gaining clearance to play from the NRL. Randall is listed to start from the bench with Arama Hau returning to the starting back-row spot. Klese Haas comes into the starting side at prop and Jaylan de Groot is the new centre with Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Jojo Fifita in Queensland camp. Prop Moeaki Fotuaika will break Mark Minichiello’s club appearance record of 173 games. Bodhi Shipley and Max Feagai were omitted in the 24-hour update.
Cowboys v Rabbitohs, Sunday 4.05pm at Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Cowboys: Jason Taumalolo returns after a Magic Round rest to start at lock with Reuben Cotter in Maroons camp. Taumalolo and Scott Drinkwater are co-captains this week. Robert Derby comes in on the wing for his first NRL game of 2026 in place of Braidon Burns, who is expected to miss 1-2 games with a hamstring injury. Last week’s debutants Liam Sutton and Xavier Kerrisk retain their spots. Kai O’Donnell dropped off the interchange in Saturday’s 24-hour update with Wiremu Greig added to the six-man bench.
Rabbitohs: Tryscoring machine Alex Johnston is on track to return from a knee injury but Latrell Mitchell (back) and Campbell Graham (calf are sidelined. Tallis Duncan moves to the centres alongside Latrell Siegwalt while Talanoa Penitani comes in on the wing for his NRL debut. Peter Mamouzelos earns a recall at hooker after two games in NSW Cup. Jamie Humphreys has been named to return from a knee injury on the bench. Matt Dufty will make his 100th NRL appearance. No changes in Saturday’s 24-hour update with Bronson Garlick remaining in the extended squad.
