The Sooners fell to Mississippi State, 11-9, in the first game on Friday.
The Bulldogs are one win away from their first-ever Women’s College World Series. OU is at risk of ending a streak of nine consecutive WCWS appearances.

Morgan Stiles flew out to right center, Tatum Silva lined out to first base and Nadia Barbary grounded out in the first.
Kai Minor grounded out, Ella Parker walked and Kendall Wells struck out swinging before interfering with the Mississippi State catcher’s throw to second.
Oklahoma is starting lefty Audrey Lowry in Game 2 of the Norman Super Regional. Lowry allowed four earned runs in 1 ⅓ innings in Friday’s loss.
