Watch Johnny Manziel TKO Bob Menery in Ex-NFL Star’s MMA Debut at UFC Apex

Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel appears to have found his new calling in a different sport.
Manziel made his MMA debut on Saturday night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and defeated social media influencer Bob Menery by first-round TKO.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner landed some kicks to the body and scored a takedown before moving to full mount and landing some hard strikes before the referee stepped in with 44 seconds remaining in the opening round.
UFC president Dana White was heard laughing hysterically throughout Manziel’s short fight against Menery.
Manziel was a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns but lasted just two years in the league before being cut in 2016. He finished his brief career with 1,675 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions in 15 appearances.
Despite his successful MMA debut, Manziel said after his win that he likely won’t pursue any future fights.
“This was good enough for one time,” he said, per ESPN.
