Computex 2026 is about a week away now, as the premier technology event is expected to take place on the 2nd of June. And everyone in the industry is excited to see what’s coming next from major firms, such as NVIDIA and AMD.
Ahead of Computex, both NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su have landed in the heart of Taiwan, Taipei, where the event will be taking place.
At Computex, various events and conferences are planned throughout the city of Taipei, but mainly centered in one area, the Nangang District, where two huge exhibition halls will be set up, hosting hundreds of booths from various companies that will showcase their latest and greatest.
The Rockstar of AI Arrives in Taipei
Talking to the media upon landing, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said that he looks forward to meeting TSMC Chairman and CEO C.C. Wei. Jensen also attended the Meet-a-Claw event in Taipei, where he met with a series of developers working on autonomous agents.
In the coming days, Jensen is expected to make some high-profile visits to his partners in Taiwan, while also hosting his annual “Trillion Dollar” dinner with his key supply chain partners. Jensen is also known to make several visits to the famous Taiwanese night markets to enjoy some delicacies.
NVIDIA’s Taiwan GTC event will take place on 1st June at 11 AM (Taiwan Standard Time). We expect to see major updates from the firm on AI, while also making some big announcements for the consumer segments.
Dr. Lisa Su Ups The AI Momentum At Computex
At the same time, AMD’s CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, has also touched down in Taiwan. In a post, Lisa states that she looks forward to spending time with customers, partners, and industry leaders while enjoying some great food. In a recent interview in Taiwan, Lisa Su said that she wants to make deeper collaborations with TSMC.

AMD has already become the first to achieve mass production of the first 2nm HPC product at TSMC, codenamed EPYC Venice. At the same time, CPU demand is on the rise, and AMD is expected to go big to tackle Intel and now NVIDIA in this segment as Agentic AI rages on. AMD’s Computex announcements should also be heavily focused on AI, but the company always has something for consumers, so we look forward to their reveals.
