Katy Perry applauded the Air Canada crew on flight AC779 from Montreal to Los Angeles in a social media post for their prompt response to a medical emergency.
“I was so impressed with the level of attentiveness and quick action from the crew that I just want to highlight the level of professionalism and consideration they had for the passenger,” Perry wrote on X.
“The medical situation was resolved on the flight and everyone left ok. Good for you Air Canada!”

The airline responded in the comments twice by asking the singer for more details and that they would share her comments with the crew.
“We are sure they will be more than happy to see this,” the airline said in the comments.
Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Perry made their first public appearance as a couple in October 2025 when the two celebrated Perry’s 41st birthday in Paris. The two were photographed holding hands at a Crazy Horse cabaret show.
However, rumours started circling of their relationship when they were spotted three months prior having dinner at Le Violon in Montreal.
Perry officially posted a photo with Trudeau on her Instagram in December. She has since frequently shared him on her social media.
