How Spurs eliminated Alex Caruso in massive Game 4 win

The San Antonio Spurs figured out how to keep Alex Caruso quiet throughout their Game 4 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night.
Caruso has been a key player in the Thunder rotation, having helped them win the championship last year. He remains in a similar role but has been active on the scoring front.
Caruso enjoyed the best scoring game of his playoff career with 31 points off the bench. He followed that up with 17 points in Game 2 and 15 points in Game 3, proving to be a problem for San Antonio. Which is why they figured out how to shut him down in Game 4, as reporter Law Murray showcased.
“If you didn’t see much of Alex Caruso tonight, there was a reason for that… he was erased. Missed his lone field goal attempts and Spurs outscored Thunder by 22 points in Caruso’s 14:01 on the floor,” Murray wrote.
