Jacob Elordi thought his “Euphoria” character Nate Jacobs’ death was a “cool way to go.”

After the seventh episode of Season 3 aired Sunday night — and showed Jacobs dying by snake bite while buried alive — the actor quipped in a post-show HBO segment, “It’s cool to see it all come to what it’s come to.”

The 28-year-old noted that his character “was someone who has made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices.”

As for filming the coffin scene, Elordi called it a “peaceful” experience.

“My shoulders were touching the side and they couldn’t move my arms,” he recalled. “Then they would drill the lid on it, and it would get dark.
It was really nice, actually. It was quite peaceful in there.”

The snake featured was a real “boa constrictor that they put a fake rattler on the end of.”

While the sound was “alarming” while “locked in a box,” Elordi ultimately called the animal “super cute” and “really cuddly.”

The Oscar nominee remembered, “He kind of just sidled up next to me, and it was nice. But he was really sleepy. He was a sleepy snake. I had to kind of nudge him to get him to come up. And that was it.”

Creator Sam Levinson was the one who “wanted to shoot it with a real snake” — and he spoke to Esquire over the weekend about giving Jacobs his “comeuppance” for fans.

“There’s this kind of funny thing where I know what the audience wants in terms of justice or karma, and with that in mind, I always think, ‘Well, how can I give it to them?’” he said.

“How can I give them what they want, but make it so horrific and anxiety-inducing that by the time it happens, the audience isn’t so sure they wanted it?”
