We’re Hosting! NCAA Baseball Regional Set For Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The University of North Carolina will be one of 16 regional hosts for the 2026 NCAA Division I Baseball Championships, the NCAA announced Sunday night. It marks the 15th time the Tar Heels will host an NCAA regional. The Chapel Hill Regional will take place Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31 with a possible final game on Monday, June 1. 

There will be a limited inventory of standing room only tickets available for purchase prior to each respective game day of the 2026 Chapel Hill Baseball Regional. Tickets can be purchased from the Boshamer Stadium ticket office 90 minutes prior to each game. 

Single-Game Tickets
Admission: $20
Participating University Students*: $5
(*for their respective university’s game)

Student Ticket Information
The first 100 students at each UNC game will receive a free ticket. Pending remaining ticket inventory, students after the first 100 will need to pay the student ticket price of $5. Students can pick up tickets from the Boshamer Ticket Office starting 90 minutes prior to each UNC game.

Parking Information
Parking will be available for the entire Chapel Hill Regional in the Rams Head Deck for $20/day as well as the Craige Deck for $14/day or $10/day if pre-purchased. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, parking will also be available for free in the Bowles Lot, Raleigh Road Visitors Lot, and on Stadium Drive. Disability parking will be in the Rams Head Deck for $20. Ride Share drop-off and pickup will be in the Law School Circle Lot. All RV parking will be directed to the Friday Center Parking lots. Please Note: Ridge Road directly in front of Boshamer Stadium will be closed throughout the weekend to support the Regionals Festivities. All access to Ram’s Head Deck will be via Manning Drive or Stadium Dr.

The three other participating teams in the Chapel Hill Regional will be announced Monday, May 25 during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show at noon ET on ESPN2. 

The Tar Heels go into NCAA Tournament play with a 45-11-1 overall record. North Carolina looks to get back to the Men’s College World Series for the 13th time and first since 2024.
