Notes on Injuries Sustained at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

According to a new report by Rope Break, multiple talents suffered injuries at last night’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show, including WWE World Tag Team Champion Logan Paul and Sol Ruca. Paul reportedly suffered a leg injury during The Vision’s tag team title defense against The Street Profits.

Meanwhile, it appears Ruca suffered an undisclosed injury during her non-title bout with Becky Lynch at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. As noted, Ruca won the match via disqualification after she was attacked by Lynch using her title belt. Sol’s injury is reportedly unknown at this time.

The report does not mention the nature or severity of Logan Paul’s leg injury, and additional details are still being gathered. The Vision successfully retained their titles after Austin Theory pinned Montez Ford.

An injury layoff would potentially come at an inopportune time for Sol Ruca. Not long after the attack by Lynch, Nick Aldis announced that Adam Pearce booked a rematch between Lynch and Ruca for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title in Clash in Italy next week. It’s currently unknown if Ruca’s rumored injury will force her to withdraw from the scheduled title bout.

For now, Lynch vs. Ruca remains on the card for WWE Clash in Italy. The premium live event takes place on Sunday, May 31 at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. The show airs live on the ESPN App in the US and on Netflix internationally. The first hour of the show will also air on ESPN.
