Club Brugge star Christos Tzolis has admitted that he would be open to joining Manchester United if the opportunity came up. United are expected to be linked with a host of potential new signings during the summer transfer window, with the rumours likely to ramp up over the next few weeks.
Tzolis joined Brugge in the summer of 2024 from German club Fortuna Dusseldorf, having previously spent time in the Premier League with Norwich City. The Greece international has enjoyed an impressive season for Brugge, scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists across all competitions.
This has led to speculation that another move may be on the cards for the 24-year-old this summer. He isn’t on United’s shortlist but the Reds are in the market for a new left winger once their issues in central midfield have been addressed – and Tzolis has already made clear he’d jump at the chance to join them.

“United could convince me,” the 24-year-old said in an interview with Het Nieuwsblad. “Such a massive club with so much history. It would be hard to say no to that.”
Tzolis also offered a hint at which club he could join if he were to leave Brugge, insisting that elite European football must be on the cards for him to consider a departure.
“It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy. Only PSG is a better option than those clubs,” he added.
United have previously been credited with an interest in signing Tzolis, who was also reportedly a player of interest to Crystal Palace at the start of the season.
However, the forward has seemingly dismissed the idea of moving to Selhurst Park this summer. “The Crystal Palace train has already left the station for me,” he said.

United were handed a major boost to their transfer hopes for this summer after securing qualification to the Champions League.
It remains to be seen which players United will look to sign this summer, with a new midfielder widely expected to be on the agenda with Casemiro leaving Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of next month.
Atalanta star Ederson and Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali have both been linked with a move to United this summer.
Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest has also been linked with a switch to United this summer, with the £100million-rated England international also wanted by Manchester City.
United could yet splash out on two new central midfielders, with a left winger and left back believed to be the next priorities on the summer shopping list.
