Sweden prepares to introduce cell broadcast warning system SE-Alert
Swedish telecoms regulator PTS has announced the forthcoming introduction of a cell broadcast warning channel called SE-Alert. This will complement the existing channels for sending important public warnings (VMA or Viktigt meddelande till allmaenheten), namely radio broadcasts, television, apps, SMS and the internet.
