Missing Kentucky student Murry ‘Alexis’ Foust’s body found

(NewsNation) — Kentucky police announced they have found the body of Murry “Alexis” Foust, the missing Northern Kentucky University student who had been missing since late April.
In a news release, the Covington Police Department said Foust’s body was found in Wilder, Kentucky, a city nearly three miles away from Covington, where they were last seen on April 27. Their body was found by an independently organized search party.

When they went missing, friends told WCPO that Foust’s phone was left behind at home and that their backpack was later found on the Northern Kentucky University campus. They said Foust planned to attend classes that day but never got there.
No indication of foul play in Murry ‘Alexis’ Foust’s death: police
As the investigation into their death begins, police said as of Sunday, there was no indication of foul play, but that the official cause and manner of death has not yet been revealed, and will come from the Campbell County Coroner’s Office.
No additional details on the case will be released until then, the department said.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the Foust family and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” the department said in its statement. “While we are saddened by this loss, we hope this development can provide the family with some answers and a measure of closure.”
Police also thanked the independent search group EquuSearch Midwest, as well as the other local law enforcement agencies that helped with the search for Foust.
