Papa Johns Bringing Pizza Planet to Life With Immersive ‘Toy Story 5’ Pop-Up Experiences

Papa Johns is taking fans “to infinity and beyond” with a new series of immersive Pizza Planet pop-up experiences inspired by Disney and Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5.

The limited-time experiences are part of a global collaboration between Papa Johns and Pixar celebrating the theatrical release of Toy Story 5, which arrives in theaters on June 19, 2026.

Inspired by the iconic Pizza Planet restaurant first introduced in the original 1995 Toy Story film, the pop-ups will transform locations in Los Angeles, London, Seoul, and Madrid into retro-inspired pizza arcades filled with games, themed décor, Easter Eggs, merchandise, and limited-edition food offerings.

According to Papa Johns, the experiences are designed to “transport fans into the Toy Story universe” while recreating the nostalgic feeling of gathering with family and friends over pizza.

Each location will feature the new Toy Story 5 menu items, including:

  • Space Ranger Roni | pepperoni pizza with double pepperoni
  • Sheriff’s Round Up | barbecue chicken pizza with onions
  • Reach for the Pie | Italian sausage and banana pepper pizza

The pop-ups will also include exclusive collectibles, themed packaging, merchandise, giveaways, and prizes from partners including adidas and Belkin.

The Pizza Planet pop-up locations and dates include:

Los Angeles | June 12 (reserve your timed ticket)
London | June 13-14 (reserve your timed ticket)
Seoul | June 12-14
Madrid | June 16-21

For fans unable to visit the pop-up experiences, the limited-time Toy Story 5 menu will still be available at Papa Johns restaurants in 43 international markets from May 26 through July 19, 2026.

Papa Johns is also launching its first-ever in-app game, “Operation Pizza,” which will allow Papa Rewards members in the United States to unlock rewards and perks beginning June 1. Some locations will require free timed-entry reservations, while others will allow walk-up entry.

The collaboration marks the first time Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story franchise has partnered with a pizza brand for a theatrical film release.

“As excitement builds for the release of Toy Story 5, we’re thrilled to collaborate with Papa Johns on a campaign that brings this iconic experience off the big screen and into fans’ everyday lives,” said Lylle Breier, EVP, Partnerships & Events at The Walt Disney Studios.

Papa Johns previously announced additional Toy Story 5 tie-ins including limited-edition collectibles featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, along with themed pizzas and dipping sauces inspired by the upcoming film.
