Jennifer Lopez is finally revealing how she covered up her Ben Affleck tattoo, two years after the former couple broke up for the second time. While sharing highlights from her sun-soaked Memorial Day weekend with her two kids and friends, the “On the Floor” singer subtly showed off her unexpected altered ink in a white bikini.

Lopez famously got matching tattoos with Affleck on Valentine’s Day in 2023, less than a year after the exes got married in Las Vegas in July 2022. At the time, the Office Romance star debuted the design on her side in a since-deleted Instagram post, showing an infinity symbol with an arrow going through it. The ink was finished with her and Affleck’s names. The Gone Girl actor also got a symbolic tattoo, sharing a photo of his arm emblazoned with two crossed arrows with their initials “J” and “B.”

After Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, speculation began to swirl over the whereabouts of her tattoo, especially when she completely covered it up with makeup during her viral side-baring revenge dress moment at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

However, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer later showed it off at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys party and while hosting the American Music Awards in 2025.

Despite a Deux Moi tip that Lopez chose to cover up Affleck’s name by transforming it into an image of a hummingbird, her May 26 photo dump appears to show that the name “Ben” has simply been scribbled over with black ink. The Marry Me actress showed off different angles of her reimagined rib tattoo while lounging on a ledge next to her pool and while posing in a side-baring white sundress for a selfie with her son Max, 18.
