Iga Swiatek gets Chatrier underway from 12:00 – taking on compatriot Magda Linette in the first time in the Open era that two Poles have faced each other at Roland-Garros.
After them, No.8 seed Mirra Andreeva meets Czech 27th seed Marie Bouzkova, before Novak Djokovic takes on Joao Fonseca, which if any of the Brazilian’s previous matches are anything to go by will be a lively affair. In Friday’s night session, No.2 seed Alexander Zverev returns to Chatrier to face French hope world No.90 Quentin Halys.
