Delhi CM’s Surprise Office Visit Sparks Urgent Reform

In a surprise visit to Delhi’s Revenue Department’s E-Sub-Registrar Offices in Rohini, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta observed glaring neglect and dilapidated conditions, prompting immediate reform directives. Her inspection highlighted issues such as poor lighting, non-functional air-conditioning, unclean facilities, and inadequate seating arrangements.

During her visit, Gupta interacted with citizens at the offices, who voiced concerns over prolonged waits and insufficient amenities. She sternly advised officials that such negligence compromises citizen welfare and underscored the governmental responsibility for maintaining public service standards.

The Chief Minister mandated swift remedial actions, including infrastructure repairs and better citizen facilities, to be executed within a week. Emphasizing transparency and efficiency, she promised future inspections to ensure fair and effective public service provisions, warning against corruption and procedural delays.
