Reopening of Highway 17 not expected until sometime on Monday, June 1.
Original information:
Emergency road work due to poor road conditions has forced the closure of Highway 17 North between Heyden (Highway 556) and Wawa (Highway 101).
A notice issued by the Northeast Region OPP states the closure is expected to “be a prolonged closure, which may reopen sometime after sunrise tomorrow.”
