ATP French Open Best Bets Including Flavio Cobolli vs Zachary Svajda

The ATP French Open fourth round on June 1 continues with two intriguing matchups as players battle for a place in the quarterfinals in Paris. Flavio Cobolli has been dominant so far without dropping a set, while Zachary Svajda arrives after several physically demanding matches, including a marathon upset over Francisco Cerundolo. Frances Tiafoe and Matteo Arnaldi also meet in a clash between two players coming off exhausting five-set victories, where physical condition could play a crucial role.
ATP French Open 1/8-Finals
Cobolli – Svajda: 01.06.2026 11:00 CEST
H2H: 1-0
Flavio Cobolli has won three of his last five matches. This week in Paris, the Italian defeated Pellegrino in the opening round in straight sets. In the second round, the Italian defeated Wu in straight sets. He trailed 0-2 in the second set, but turned it around. The Italian demolished Tien in the third round in straight sets.
Zachary Svajda has won three of his last five matches. This week in Paris, Svajda upset Popyrin in the opening match. After losing the opening set, the American stepped up his level and turned the match around, winning in four sets. In the second round, Svajda defeated Walton in four sets. He served great, hitting 21 aces. His toughest challenge happened in the third round against Cerundolo. After playing for over three hours, the American upset Cerundolo in five tight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Cobolli is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He has won all three matches this week in straight sets easily. On the other hand, Svajda had several tough matches and will be tired coming into this match. We expect Cobolli to dominate the rallies.
That being said, Cobolli covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Tiafoe – Arnaldi: 01.06.2026 16:00 CEST
H2H: 1-1
Frances Tiafoe has won four of his last five matches. This week in Paris, Tiafoe outlasted Spizzirri in four sets in the opening match. He served well, saving two out of three breakpoints. In the second round, the American outlasted Hurkacz in five tight sets after playing for almost five hours. He had a chance to close out the match in the fourth set, but fumbled under pressure. In the third round, Tiafoe outlasted Faria in five sets.
Matteo Arnaldi has won four of his last five matches. This week in Paris, the Italian outlasted Griekspoor in the opening round in four sets, after playing for four hours. In the second round, Arnaldi upset Tsitsipas in four sets. His toughest challenge happened in the third round against Collignon. After playing for over five hours, the Italian defeated Collignon in five tight sets. He trailed 1-2, but turned the match around.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we disagree. Arnaldi looked completely exhausted against Collignon at the end of the match. He struggled with his foot injury for a long time and will probably suffer against Tiafoe. On the other hand, Tiafoe stepped up his level in the fourth and fifth sets against Faria. We expect him to be in better shape for this match.
That being said, Tiafoe winning is a value bet.
