Republic of Ireland have enjoyed their two previous visits to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
The Irish defeated France in a memorable 3-1 win in front of 18,400 fans in 2024, and Carla Ward’s side picked up a 1-0 win against Slovenia last year.
They will hope to make it a hat-trick of wins at the venue this evening.
The pitch in Cork has been narrowed to the FIFA minimum requirement of 64 metres and with rain forecasted, it seems it will be quite the battle out there in front of an expected 11,000 strong crowd.
