The Champions League’s opening week brought heartbreak in Turin for Borussia Dortmund as they squandered their two-goal lead on Juventus late on, with stoppage-time strikes from Dusan Vlahovic and Lloyd Kelly ensuring the spoils were shared.
Niko Kovac’s side have clearly not been disheartened by that collapse, though, beating Wolfsburg and Mainz to nil in their two subsequent games.
Any side who can score four goals at Juventus should be feared and with Dortmund now unbeaten in seven games, it is a surprise that you can back them at a shade of odds-on against an out-of-sorts Athletic Bilbao.
The Basque outfit are without a win in five games, losing to nil four times and drawing with La Liga basement boys Girona in that run, and it is hard to see them taking anything from their trip to Signal Iduna Park.
