The strange match-up was announced earlier this year, and has been dubbed ‘Beauty vs. The Beast, and will see a crossover between the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

Father-of-two Tommy is typically a cruiserweight boxer, with his last fight seeing him weighing in at 208lb (approx. 94kg).

Meanwhile, Hall is expected to weigh in between 335lbs to 350lbs (approx. 152 to 159kg) creating a huge weight difference.

WHO IS EDDIE HALL?

Eddie Hall, nicknamed ‘The Beast’, is a retired strongman competitor, best known for winning the 2017 World’s Strongest Man competition.

The 38-year-old hails from Newcastle and has tried his hand at various sports since he retired.

In 2022, he had a professional exhibition bout against Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, and has also competed in mixed martial arts.

Later this month, Hall will take on Fury in what will be his first official professional boxing bout.

FURY RECORD

Tommy made his professional boxing debut way back in December 2018, getting the win at the Manchester Arena. His second bout took place in Leicester and also resulted in a victory.

Fury put his boxing career on hold in 2019 as he entered the Love Island villa, finding love with now-partner Molly-Mae Hague.

Since leaving the villa, he has had a further nine fights, with his fight record seeing him win all 11 contests to date — four of which by knockout.

Among his opponents have been Jake Paul and KSI.

Now, Fury takes on Eddie Hall, a man with no professional record but with a serious weight advantage.

FAMILY LIFE

In the midst of it all, Tommy has welcomed the arrival of his second child with Molly-Mae.

The pair welcomed their first child, Bambi, in January 2023. Earlier this year, the couple enlisted Bambi’s help to share that they were expecting once again.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Molly-Mae, 27, shared a picture to confirm the arrival of their second child.

‘And then there were 4,’ she captioned the snap of herself, Tommy, Bambi and their newborn.
