Amanda Holden has teased that the new series of her and Alan Carr’s renovation show is the “best yet”.
The TV stars previously came together to spruce up dilapidated homes in Italy in Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job, then turned a tired building into a flashy B&B in Andalusia in their Spanish Job series.
Their next project takes them to Greece, where they throw themselves into life in Corfu while putting their DIY skills to the test on a new property.
Amanda let slip a few details about the BBC series as she appeared on The One Show on Wednesday (October 1), telling the show’s hosts Alex Jones and Vernon Kay: “I think it’s the best one yet!”

“So we have done a renovation in Corfu this year,” she went on. “We’ve been in Greece and we were there across the summer.
“So again, there’s lots of plastering, lots of building, lots of knocking down the walls, lots of drinking wine. And lots of saganaki cheese.”
“Do you actually build anything?” Vernon teased, with Amanda joking back as they all laughed: “How dare you!”

The Britain’s Got Talent judge added that the property in Corfu was a “gorgeous house”.
“I was so sad to leave,” she admitting, adding that the new series was set to air in January.
The show’s fourth run was confirmed earlier this year, with comedian Alan saying at the time: “Greece is always my ‘Go To’ place for holiday fun, so it will be strange for me to be packing a hard hat, drill and paint roller in my suitcase instead of my usual suntan lotion and budgie smugglers.”

He went on: “After the success of Sicily, Tuscany and Andalusia I think Greece is the perfect next step for some Alamanda magic, with its rich history and culture and let’s not forget the delicious food and drink, it feels like its already gearing up to be an unforgettable summer.”
The One Show airs at 7pm on BBC One on weekdays.
