Oh not again! Uscheduled power cut hits hundreds of properties less than a month after last outage

A widespread power cut has taken place, with thousands of properties impacted.
Large areas of the West Side have been affected by the unscheduled outage, with 3,000 properties at one point cut off.
Many were back on soon after, and the number has since reduced to 483 across 19 postcode areas.
Shetland’s West Side seems to be the last area affected by the outage.
Engineers hope to have power fully restored to all properties by 2.30pm.
It comes two weeks after hundreds of homes and businesses were affected by an overnight powercut.
Last month’s outage was reported in the early hours of Sunday 24th May.
It affected areas throughout Shetland, including most of the South Mainland, Lerwick and parts of the North Isles too.
Further outages were reported in Brae and Mossbank.
