All playoffs, all spring, New York Knicks fans have celebrated wins and mourned losses outside the place they call basketball mecca. But Wednesday night, there was a problem: The police had barricaded the blocks around Madison Square Garden, funneling bodies this way and that, away from the place where the Knicks had just completed the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history.
