CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Jelly Roll thanked staff at Novant Medical Center for helping him “get on his feet” after a health issue ahead of his Charlotte show last week.
The country superstar, who performed alongside Post Malone at Bank of America Stadium on Tuesday, June 9, explained the health situation in a video posted on social media.
“So I went to Novant Health last night in Charlotte, North Carolina,” Jelly Roll said. “Shoutout to that whole hospital. They literally got me on my feet for the show.”

Jelly Roll said he was dealing with a sinus infection and that doctors treated him and gave him steroids, which he said helped him get through the show.
“I was puffy-faced. It was just bad,” Jelly Roll said. “It was the first night, as long as I’ve been touring with Post, that I didn’t get to come out and sing Losers with him because I just barely got through my show.”

Along with Novant Health, Jelly Roll also thanked Post Malone, who sent him flowers the next night with a “get well soon” message.
“When I say on stage every night that Post Malone is the nicest human in the world, I’m not making that up,” Jelly Roll said. “I love you, Post.”
