Predators sign recently acquired Jack Drury to five-year contract

The Predators signed Drury to a five-year contract on Sunday, which carries a $4.5 million annual-average value, per a team announcement.
Drury was scheduled to become a restricted free agent on Wednesday.
Nashville traded Fedor Svechkov and Zachary L’Heureux to Colorado on Thursday for a package made up of Drury, Chase Bradley and a 2029 third-round pick.
Drury recorded 27 points (10 goals and 17 assists) in 82 games last season, adding three goals and two assists in 13 playoff games with the Avalanche.
Drafted 42nd overall in 2018 by the Carolina Hurricanes, Drury spent parts of four seasons with their organization before being traded to Colorado in January 2025.
Across 268 career NHL games, he has 82 points (30 goals and 52 assists).
