Kansas State vs Baylor predictions, picks for college football Week 6
Wyatt Wheeler, Kansas State beat writer: Baylor 35, Kansas State 27
Kansas State’s inexperience in its secondary makes me nervous when the Bears face the nation’s top passing attack. The Wildcats are also coming off their worst tackling performance, as the Bears have multiple players on the offense who have been great in yards after contact and receptions. Kansas State should have a solid game on the ground, but if Baylor is explosive early, it could be a tough outing.
Jeremy Cluff writes: “Both of these teams are 1-1 in Big 12 play, making this game a pivotal one for both the Wildcats and Bears as they attempt to stay in the conference race. Sawyer Robertson will make a big play late for Baylor to edge Kansas State.”
ESPN: Baylor has a 61% chance to defeat Kansas State on Saturday
The site gives the Wildcats a 39% shot at winning the college football Week 6 game over the Bears on Oct. 4.
It writes: “Baylor has one win against the spread this season. Baylor has no wins ATS (0-2) as a 6.5-point favorite or greater this season. This season, three of Baylor’s five games have go over the point total.”
