Update on WWE censoring blood from Netflix event replays

An update is available regarding the censoring of blood on WWE events replayed on Netflix.
Following WWE Night of Champions on Saturday, fans noted that Bron Breakker’s head appears blurred at times on the replay version of the show on Netflix after he began bleeding during his match against Seth Rollins.
According to a report from PWInsider on Thursday, the blurring of Breakker’s head was done by WWE itself. The report notes that, in addition to blurring Breakker’s bloodied face, some camera angles used during the live broadcast were replaced with alternate shots on the Netflix replay. There was also at least one instance where the replay cuts to a crowd shot for a few seconds instead of showing Breakker after he began bleeding.
In what was described as a common practice for WWE replays on Netflix, PWInsider also noted that the “holy sh–” chants after Rollins put Breakker through a table were replaced with “This is awesome!” chants.
On the Netflix replay of #WWENOC, they have decided to blur out Bron Breakker’s entire head after he gets busted open. It’s both amazing and one of the stupidest things you’ll see today. pic.twitter.com/Tf0y7WGGyg
