Michael Che bringing stand-up comedy to Easton’s State Theatre in December
“Saturday Night Live” star Michael Che will perform at State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton on Dec. 10, 2025, bringing his stand-up comedy to the Lehigh Valley.
The comedian, currently in his 11th season as co-anchor of “SNL’s” Weekend Update alongside Colin Jost, will take the stage at the Downtown Easton venue. Che also stars in, writes and is executive producer of the HBO comedy sketch series “That Damn Michael Che.”
Tickets are available via presales beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1, with general public sales starting Friday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com.
Che has established himself as a prominent figure in comedy through his work on “SNL” and his Netflix specials. His first hour-long special, “Michael Che Matters,” was released in 2016 and reached No. 1 on Netflix twice — upon its initial release and again in 2020. His second Netflix special, “Michael Che Shame the Devil,” was taped at the Fox Theater in Oakland and released in November 2021.
The comedian has received multiple Emmy nominations for his writing on “SNL” and co-hosted NBC’s live Emmy Awards telecast in 2018 with Jost. The duo also hosted special Weekend Update episodes on MSNBC during the 2016 Republican and Democratic national conventions.
Before joining “SNL,” Che worked as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and appeared alongside Chris Rock in the 2015 film “Top Five.”
