Tour de France Femmes
Marlen Reusser takes over the yellow jersey with a 14-second lead over Demi Vollering as reigning Tour champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot loses over two minutes.

The stage 4 individual time trial at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift was a spicy spectacle in Dijon. While the outcome was largely predictable, with world champion Marlen Reusser taking a statement win, there was plenty of drama lower down the standings to set up a thrilling remainder to the race.
Acting as a bridge between the flat finishes and the (even) harder stages in the latter half of the Tour de France Femmes, the 21-kilometre TT from Gevrey-Chambertin to Dijon was not the most pure of time trials given its not-insignificant hill in the middle. However, though provisional fastest Lieke Nooijen presented a sturdy benchmark, the TT world champion was able to slip almost four seconds inside the Visma-Lease a Bike rider’s time at the finish.
Reusser was in fact the only one who could better Nooijen, though Demi Vollering came pretty close, wrapping up third on the stage just 17 seconds down on Reusser’s time. Elsewhere in the GC category, there were good performances from Elisa Longo Borghini, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney and Anna van der Breggen, all a little over a minute down. But reigning Tour champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has work to do having lost two minutes 13 seconds to solid contender Reusser.
At the end of the TT, Reusser now leads the Tour by 14 seconds over Vollering who moves up to second overall, with Cédrine Kerbaol leaping up to third. Overnight leader Sigrid Haugset is the third and last rider within a minute of Reusser in fourth.
