Several weeks ago, “South Park” creators Trey Park and Matt Stone missed their deadline to turn in episode 5 of season 27, causing the bi-weekly schedule they recently announced to be significantly skewed.
Due to the missed deadline, there was no new episode last week on Wednesday, Oct. 1, but that means there’s also no new episode tonight, Oct. 8.
All because Parker and Stone admittedly create each episode at the last minute in order to stay as topical as possible.
Here’s everything we know about “South Park” Season 27, Episode 6 so far, including when it will air.
Where is ‘South Park’ episode 6?
Episode 6 of “South Park” season 27 will air Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 10 p.m. Arizona time on Comedy Central.
It will be available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
When does ‘South Park’ air?
The new “South Park” schedule has the latest episodes releasing on a bi-weekly schedule. So, episode 5 aired Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10 p.m. Arizona time on Comedy Central and became available to stream the following day on Paramount+.
Initially, showrunners Trey Park and Matt Stone had intended for the 10-episode season to come out weekly, but according to Deadline, a source close to the show’s producers told the publication that “so much happens right now in just one day with Trump. No one’s going to sacrifice getting it right, even if we have to push getting it to air, and if that makes the season longer, so be it.”

How to watch previous season 27 ‘South Park’ episodes
In the season’s off-weeks, Comedy Central has been re-airing previous episodes from season 27 on Comedy Central. However, in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death, they pulled episode 2 from the lineup on Wednesday, Sept. 10, which had Cartman mimicking the conservative social media influencer.
There’s no word on whether the episode will air this week or next, but it can still be streamed on Paramount+ along with the rest of the “South Park” catalogue.
