Duce Robinson injury: How it happened

Robinson caught a bubble screen with 1:13 remaining in the second quarter at the Seminoles’ 35-yard line. Pitt’s Kavir Bains-Marquez hit him hard in the sternum, then slid down the 6-foot-6, 223-pound receiver to tackle him by the ankles. Robinson hit the turf after a 4-yard gain to the 39-yard line, then stayed down with his face on the ground.

Trainers came out to treat Robinson, who got up and walked unaided off the field. He tried to re-enter the game during the next timeout and was seen talking with the coaching staff to let him back in, but he walked to the locker room with 18 seconds remaining. The drive ended shortly after with a Tommy Castellanos touchdown pass to Landen Thomas.
