CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns’ offense has reached historically low levels, scoring just 13.7 points per game behind rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel. On the Orange and Brown Talk podcast, Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot didn’t mince words about the severity of the situation and the need for dramatic action.
“I would actually be trying to trade for a veteran quarterback that could come in here and get them through the rest of this season. I don’t know who the heck that would be at this point. I really don’t,” Cabot stated emphatically. “But I would be trying to find somebody because I just crunched some numbers. I went back and I watched a fair amount of the Pittsburgh Steelers game and Dillon Gabriel was off on a lot of his throws.”
