Colorado football schedule: Is Colorado playing today

Will the Colorado Buffaloes be on the field today in Week 8 of the college football season?
Following its best win of the season, a 24-17 victory over a ranked Iowa State team, Colorado has its first bye week of the season. The Buffs have played seven straight games and enter their bye week with a 3-4 record, 1-3 in Big 12 play.
Colorado’s first bye week comes at an opportune time for the Buffs. Colorado is coming off an emotional win over the Cyclones and is severely banged up. The week off should give key injured players the much-needed time to recover.
The Buffs still have several things to clean up, including their run defense, which currently gives up 188 yards per game, the second-worst mark in the Big 12. Overall, a more consistent product all-around will be necessary if Colorado wants to achieve bowl eligibility by winning three more games.
Colorado also has a bye week ahead of its critical Week 9 matchup in Salt Lake City against the likely ranked Utah Utes.
ESPN’s Football Power Index gives Colorado only a 16.1% chance to defeat its next-door rival. Utah will be coming off a matchup against its heated rival, BYU.
