Pro Duck DeForest Buckner wears full Indiana Hoosiers gear after losing bet to teammate

What goes around, comes around, and if you’re going to dish it out, you better be able to take it.

Those are two lessons that Indianapolis Colts star DeForest Buckner had to learn the hard way this week, after his Oregon Ducks lost to the Indiana Hoosiers in a top-10 matchup at Autzen Stadium last weekend. On Thursday, Buckner showed up to his media availability rocking full Hoosiers’ gear, fit with a red Indiana shirt and the famed red and white pinstripe pants.

The bet was lost to Colts’ co-owner Kalen Jackson, who is an Indiana graduate. In other words, this is not a bet that Buckner was going to be able to avoid paying up on.

Earlier this year, we saw some of Buckner’s Indianapolis teammates wearing Oregon gear after the Ducks beat the Penn State Nittany Lions in Week 5, so it’s great to see Buckner making good on things when he unfortunately ends up on the losing side of things.

We always found out earlier this week that former Duck wide receiver Tez Johnson had to wear an Indiana shirt as well, which he revealed on the Ducks Rising Podcast. Hopefully, we don’t have to see too much of this going forward throughout the rest of the Oregon season.
