Manchester United in concrete negotiations over deal for AIK Fotboll striker Kevin Filling

Manchester United are in concrete negotiations over a potential deal for AIK Fotboll striker Kevin Filling, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg. Man United have recently bolstered their attacking ranks after bringing the trio of Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha to the Old Trafford club in the summer. The Red Devils have been linked with Red Bull Salzburg attacker Kerim Alejbegovic in recent hours and fresh reports from Germany claim Filling is also on their radar.

The 6ft 1in 16-year-old striker has been playing regularly for the Swedish top-flight club despite his tender years, and he could leave AIK in January for around €3 million. Man United are not the only ones keen on Filling, with German top-flight clubs also monitoring his situation. He has two goals in seven appearances for AIK so far this term and has been widely tipped to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexander Isak.

Filling will be expected to link up with the Man United youth teams if he moves in January or next summer, but he could be featuring for the first-team sooner or later given his huge potential.
