James Martin was taken aback during his Saturday Morning show when a sudden downpour interrupted filming in his outdoor kitchen.
The 53 year old chef had to acknowledge the unexpected weather as the sound of heavy rain disrupted the programme.
James remarked: “Just like that the heavens open…” before the cameras showcased the torrential rain, prompting him to exclaim: “Look at that out there!”.
The following segment of the show was seemingly filmed indoors, where he was joined by guests including singer James Morrison, Aktar Islam, Shivi Ramoutar and Daniel Clifford.
However, later in the episode, James returned to his outdoor kitchen for a chat with singer James, 41, reports the Express.

As James Martin’s Saturday Morning is pre-recorded at his impressive Hampshire kitchen, it’s likely that the weather disruption on Saturday’s show wasn’t due to Storm Amy, which is currently wreaking havoc across the UK.
This comes as Storm Amy brought strong winds and heavy rain, causing chaos across large parts of the UK on Saturday.
Weather alerts covered much of the country, with wind gusts nearing 100mph on Friday night.
The Met Office reported that the highest recorded gust on Friday was at Tiree in the Hebrides at 96mph, while a provisional October wind gust record for Northern Ireland was set with 92mph winds measured at Magilligan in Co Londonderry.

An amber wind warning was in place for the north of Scotland until 9pm on Saturday, with yellow warnings covering all of Scotland, northern England and north Wales until the end of the day. A further yellow wind warning extended until 7pm across the rest of England and Wales.
Additional yellow rain warnings were issued for north and west Scotland until midnight, and Northern Ireland until midday.
ScotRail predicted that disruptions to services could continue into Saturday, and possibly Sunday, while Network Rail conducts safety checks for obstructions on the line and any infrastructure damage. National Rail also cautioned about potential disruptions across the UK on Saturday.
Sunday is forecasted to be drier and less windy, with sunny spells for most areas, but there may be some rain in the north west.
James Martin’s Saturday Morning continues to air at 9:30am on ITV and ITV X every Saturday.
