The Gamecocks (3-2, 1-2 SEC) are battling the No. 11 Tigers (4-1, 1-1) on the road on Oct. 11 (7:45 p.m., SEC Network), with both teams coming off an open date.
South Carolina beat Kentucky 35-15 on Sept. 27, the same day LSU lost 24-19 to Ole Miss.
When these two teams met in 2024, the Tigers clawed back from a 17 point deficit to win 36-33. It’s coach Shane Beamer’s first trip to Louisiana and just the second time coaching against Brian Kelly. The Gamecocks have not won in Baton Rouge since 1994.

South Carolina vs LSU score prediction
LSU 27, South Carolina 17: South Carolina’s offense looked better before the week off but LSU’s defense will be hard to produce against. Though LaNorris Sellers keeps things close, Garrett Nussmeier’s chemistry with his receivers punishes the Gamecocks secondary enough to pull away in the second half.
